NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Woodberry Forest, Va. native\u00a0Jack Stelter\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee and will suit up for the Vols as a member of the class of 2025.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Jordan Crooks<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as well as current Carmel Swim Club teammates Gus Rothrock<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Griffin Hadley<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Knoxville in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“After a lot of thought and consideration I am very excited to announce my commitment to swim at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville next year. I would like to thank my family, coaches, friends, and teammates for pushing me along the way. I would also like to thank the coaching staff at Towson University for being so understanding regarding my decision to take a gap year this year. I can\u2019t wait for the next four years. Go Vols! ? #gbo”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented freestyler, Stelter swims year-round with Woodberry Forest Swimming and most recently won the 200\/500 free combo at Virginia Seniors in March. Last summer, he achieved 100% best times at TYR Summer Seniors where his highest finish was a 25th-place showing in the 200m IM.<\/p>\n
