NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Bala Cynwyd, Pa. native\u00a0<\/strong>Camille Weiss\u00a0<\/strong>will head to the Sunshine State next fall after giving her verbal pledge to the University of Miami.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Emily Grasso<\/strong><\/a>, Lucy Miller<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Jacey Hinton\u00a0<\/b><\/a>\u00a0as a member of the Canes\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“Super excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at the U! Both the team and the coaches are amazing and so welcoming. I fell in love with the culture and pride at Miami and am grateful to be joining the family. I want to thank my coach, Crystal Keelan for helping me get to this point, as well as my team and family for their constant support. Can\u2019t wait to be a cane”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An extremely versatile swimmer, Weiss does her club swimming with Penn Charter Aquatic Club and is a Futures qualifier. She placed eighth in the 200 free and 14th in the 400 IM at Middle Atlantic Seniors in March 2019 and took 11th in both the 200 free and 1000 free at the NCAP Invitational in December.<\/p>\n
