NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Indiana University has scored an in-state verbal commitment for their growing class of 2025 from\u00a0Finlay “Finn” Brooks\u00a0<\/strong>of Fort Wayne, Ind.<\/p>\n

He will join Nichita Bortnicov<\/strong><\/a>, Aidan Reagan<\/strong><\/a>, Rafael Miroslaw<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Jackson Carlile<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Luke Barr<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Sean Swift<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Josh Matheny<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Lucas Piunti<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0Mason Carlton\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>in Bloomington in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m very excited to announce that I will be continuing my swimming and academic careers at Indiana University! I\u2019m extremely thankful to my coaches Sean Gibson and Tyler Lemert at Concordia, and also my coaches Justin Max and Stephanie Jamison at SCA. They have all been great coaches and have helped me get to where I want to be with swimming!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprinter, Brooks does his club swimming with Summit City Aquatics under coaches Stephanie Jamison<\/strong> and Justin Max<\/strong>. He owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100 fly and the Junior National cut in the 50 free. His best 100 free time came in a recent unsanctioned intrasquad meet.<\/p>\n
