NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Boston College has scored a new verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Nashville, Tenn. native Hannah Neilsen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She will arrive in Chestnut Hill as members of the Eagles\u2019 class of 2025 along with\u00a0Catherine Bradac<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Megan Kramer<\/strong><\/a>, Olivia Howard<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Liza Murtagh<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Mary Kate Leonard<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Samantha Smith<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am so excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academics and swimming at Boston College. Thank you to my wonderful family and friends, those at @stceciliaacademy, and my coaches and teammates at @ensworthaquatics for making this possible! Can\u2019t wait to be an Eagle! \ufe0f?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented breaststroker, Neilsen owns two Junior National standards and last competed at the Southeastern Championships where she took fourth in the 200 breast and fifth in the 100 breast after winning the latter event at the Ensworth Holiday Classic. Last summer, she grabbed gold in the 100m breast at Southeastern LCM Championships before going on to final in that event at NCSAs.<\/p>\n

She does her club swimming with Ensworth Aquatics.<\/p>\n
