Training by Commit Swimming: Sprint Free"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Everybody loves the sprint races.\u00a0 Nothing gets more hype than being the fastest swimmer in the world.\u00a0 But what can we do &#8211; the average swimmers- to gain more speed in the pool?<\/p>\n<p>Well, it&#8217;s all about power.\u00a0 The more power we can create with our arms, core and kick&#8230;the faster we should be able to go.<\/p>\n<p>These exercises should help create that power.\u00a0 Between the pressing on the stability ball to performing a dumbbell stroke on a stability ball, the power developed with these exercises will increase your distance per stroke.\u00a0 Also, the new strength and power should improve your body position in the water.<\/p>\n<p>Perform two to three sets of 10 reps two times a week with medium-to-heavy resistance.\u00a0 If you cannot make the 10 reps, the weight is too heavy.\u00a0 Good luck and feel the need for speed!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
