Indiana is a perfect fit for me; the coaching staff is absolutely incredible and I feel an amazing connection with all of them. The second I stepped on campus I knew it was the place for me; I didn\u2019t want to leave! Thank you so much to everyone that helped me get to this point! Go Hoosiers!!! \u26aa\ufe0f?&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented backstroker and sprint freestyler, DeWitt placed 13th in the 100 back and 24th in the 200 back at Juniors East in December. Last summer, she recorded four lifetime bests at Indiana LCM Seniors before going on to take fourth in the 100m back, 11th in the 200m back, and 13th in the 50m back at NCSAs.<\/p>\n<p>She swims year-round with Fort Wayne Swim Team.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 back &#8211; 25.39<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 53.79<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 1:59.12<\/li>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 23.38<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 50.98<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A rising junior at Fort Wayne Carroll High School, DeWitt is already a three-time Indiana State Championship finalist.
