Through the years, Stott has discussed the training routines of numerous athletes with their coaches and has brought this information to Swimming World Magazine. More recently, he has dug into his archives and located several workouts to be shared on the website.<\/p>\n<p>The following workout was conducted by 14-year-old <strong>Missy Franklin<\/strong> in October 2009, with coach <strong>Todd Schmitz<\/strong> designing the workload for his emerging star. Of course, Franklin and Schmitz enjoyed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/video-interview-missy-franklin-todd-schmitz-share-excitement-over-200-freestyle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">spectacular success<\/a> together with the Colorado Stars, with Franklin capturing five medals at the 2012 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.olympic.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Olympic Games<\/strong><\/a> in London, including individual titles in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke.
