There is still some ongoing discussion on the south locker room building as to its final design.\u00a0 Looking at best-worst-case scenarios, the aquatic center could have a soft opening in June of 2021 (Next Year!) and an official opening in October of 2021.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The October Official opening could have a hard date of October 9<sup>th<\/sup> to coincide with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/save-the-dates-ishof-hall-of-fame-20-and-21-classes-will-be-inducted-in-spring-and-fall-of-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">induction of the International Swimming Hall of Fame\u2019s Class of 2021.<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">&#8220;Construction is moving along.\u00a0\u00a0The first concrete placement for the Dive Well was Tuesday, August 4! \u00a0Whoo Hoo!!\u00a0\u00a0The Main competition pool foundation and plumbing is complete too.&#8221; &#8211; Timeline<\/u><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CONCRETE:\u00a0 The next large concrete pour will be the week before the Labor Day holiday &#8211; Dive Well Walls<\/li>\n<li>SHEET PILES:\u00a0 Hensel Phelps is tracking to mobilize the steel sheet pile contractor on August 17 to begin removing the steel sheet piles from the Main Competition Pool as the concrete is cured and pool plumbing is set.\u00a0 Once the dive well walls are poured and cured, those sheet pile will be removed as well.\u00a0\u00a0Timeframe:\u00a0 \u00a0August 17-October 2,\u00a08am to 5pm Monday \u2013
