She finaled in the 100 free at Carlsbad Sectionals in March and placed 14th in that event at East LA Sectionals in December. Last summer, she earned two best times at Santa Clarita Sectionals before going on to earn bronze in both the 50m free and 100m free at the MVN Junior Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>A recent graduate of San Clemente High School, Faris competed at the CIF Southern Division I Section Championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
