Curzan swims for the TAC Titans in North Carolina as she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/usa-swimming-officially-ratifies-claire-curzans-three-national-age-group-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">broke three national age group records<\/a> earlier this summer in her first meet back since March.<\/p>\n<p>Curzan has been seemingly hitting on all cylinders this summer as she has not missed a beat with the COVID pandemic still ongoing and affecting the rest of the world. She finished ahead of teammate\u00a0<strong>Brooke Morgan\u00a0<\/strong>(23.34) and Marlins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Abby Arens\u00a0<\/strong>(23.38).<\/p>\n<p>One of the three Olympians already selected for next year,\u00a0<strong>Ashley Twichell<\/strong>, cruised in the 500 freestyle with a 4:40.57 as she will be representing the United States at the Tokyo Olympics in the 10K open water swim and potentially another event if she performs at the Olympic Trials. She won ahead of 16-year-old\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Hook\u00a0<\/strong>(4:41.83).<\/p>\n<p>Hook also won the 200 IM at 1:57.69 ahead of NC State bound Arens at 1:59.67.
