Photo Courtesy: Alabama Swimming and Diving<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Prior to joining the Crimson Tide, Lyman spent three seasons as the diving coach at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/east-carolina-university-cuts-mens-womens-swimming-and-diving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">East Carolina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI am beyond excited to join the Crimson Tide,\u201d Jesse Lyman said. \u201cI look forward to contributing to the success of this program and the University.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While with the Pirates, Lyman\u2019s divers recorded 18 finals appearances at the American Athletic Conference championships, earning one gold, four silver and two bronze medals. Additionally, he helped Rodrigo Romero earn All-America honors and qualify for the 2020 NCAA Swimming &amp; Diving Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining ECU, Jesse Lyman spent three seasons as diving coach at Rowan University. During his tenure at Rowan, he coached five-time NCAA Division III All-America diver John Morris. Lyman was also named Metropolitan Championships Coach of the Year each season of his stint at Rowan.<\/p>\n<p>A 2013 graduate of LSU with a history education major and a minor in political science, Lyman was a four-year diver for the Tigers and a two-year NCAA Zone Championships qualifier.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u2014 The above press release was posted by Swimming World in conjunction with Alabama Swimming and Diving<\/i><i>.
