VERY little has changed at the top of the latest College Swim Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) poll. But there was considerable shuffling of teams going on just below the Olympian heights of the top four teams.

For the men, the top four teams remain Texas, Stanford, Auburn and Cal. For the women, it's Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Stanford.

The biggest jumps were made by the University of California women, who dropped from number four to number eight after a tough loss to Georgia. The Arizona State women tumbled six spots after being dropped by Arizona and Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Badger men and women both rose four spots after their successful Arizona trip.

The Purdue men, and the women from Florida State and Washington each made their first appearance in the Top 25. It was the Husky women's first-ever appearance, prompting UW coach Mickey Wender to comment that the teams were excited about the ranking and that, "It's great for our hard-working athletes to be recognized because they really believe in what we are doing and have invested themselves body, mind and spirit in this program. This honor is well deserved. "

Information provided by Greg Earhart: CollegeSwimming.com

MEN
1. Texas 199 (7)
2.
