I\u2019d like to thank my coaches, teammates, &amp; my family for helping me get to where I am. Go coogs!!\u2764\ufe0f?&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented breaststroker and butterflyer, Alvarez does her club swimming with Katy Aquatics and is a Junior National qualifier. She most recently won three events at the Gulf Short Course Championships in March while earning two best times at Juniors West in December. Last summer, she finaled in the 50m fly and 200m breast at NCSAs.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:03.66<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:18.24<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 55.51<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 2:02.09<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:03.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Taylor High Scbool, Alvarez is a five-time Texas 6A State Championship finalist.
