Coaches who complete the free\u00a0Duty to Care Knowledge Check\u00a0in each pillar will earn themselves a nationally recognised\u00a0Duty to Care\u00a0\u2018Digital Badge\u2019.<\/p>\n

The findings of Baroness Grey-Thompson<\/strong>\u2019s Duty of Care in Sport review coincided with UK Coaching\u2019s plan to devise a product that ensures coaches are sufficiently equipped to deliver great coaching and thereby, inspire their participants to develop lifelong active lifestyles and ensure athletes\u2019 welfare is at the top of their priority list.<\/p>\n

Mel Marshall<\/strong>, coach to Adam Peaty<\/strong> and British Swimming National Centre Lead Coach, said:<\/p>\n

“To me coaching is about people, and how coaching illuminates\u2019 human beings, so it\u2019s fantastic to see UK Coaching releasing a resource that will help coaches to find their feet again after what has been an incapacitating time for us.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
