NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Columbine Valley, Colo. native\u00a0Anna Shaw\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal pledge to Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Samantha Tadder<\/strong><\/a>, Torri Huske<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Meghan Lynch<\/a><\/strong>, as well as diver\u00a0Lauren Burch<\/strong>, as a member of the Cardinal\u2019s class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“Beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and continue my academics at Stanford University. It is an absolute dream come true and I can\u2019t thank my family, coaches and friends enough for all their support through this process. Thrilled to be a tree and join such an incredible group of people!! ?\u2764\ufe0f”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprint freestyler, Shaw does her club swimming with University of Denver Hilltoppers and owns the Juniors cut in the 50 free with the U.S. Open standard in the 100 free. She finished sixth in the 50 free at Juniors West in December where she registered best times in the 50\/100 free. Last summer, she raced to silver in the 50m free at Mount Hood Sectionals before going on to compete at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
