He remains <a href=\"https:\/\/uclabruins.com\/sports\/womens-water-polo\/roster\/coaches\/adam-wright\/3544\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">at the school as the head coach<\/a> of the men\u2019s (since 2009) and women\u2019s since 2018) water polo teams.<\/p>\n<p>Wright was a three-time All-American and four-time All-MPSF pick during his time in the pool at UCLA. He scored 128 career goals, leading UCLA to the 1999 and 2000 NCAA championships. A long-time fixture in the national team, Wright represented Team USA at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics, the high-water mark being the Beijing silver. Wright scored four goals and dished a team-best nine assists in that tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Wright has won <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/five-questions-for-adam-wright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">six NCAA championships<\/a>, including one as an assistant for the UCLA women\u2019s team in 2009. He coached the UCLA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/on-the-record-with-uclas-adam-wright\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">men\u2019s team to titles<\/a> in 2014, 2015 and 2017, in the process setting the NCAA record for consecutive victories (57).
