NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Breaststroker\u00a0Hannah Liu\u00a0<\/strong>of Lincolnshire, Ill. has announced her verbal commitment* to the University of Pennsylvania and will suit up for the Quakers in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

She told Swimming World<\/em>:<\/p>\n

“I am SO excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at the University of Pennsylvania! I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, coaches and teachers who have supported me so much through this process. I can\u2019t wait to \u201cquake\u201d it down with my new swim family! Go Quakers!!! ?\u2764\ufe0f”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A Junior National qualifier, Liu does her club swimming with Patriot Aquatic Club and most recently earned bronze in the 200 breast at Illinois Seniors after racing both breaststroke events at the U.S. Open. Last summer, she raced the 100m\/200m breast combo at Junior Nationals and finaled in two events at NCSAs in March 2019.<\/p>\n

She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors twice during her career thus far.<\/p>\n
