NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Penn State has added a new verbal commitment from\u00a0Molly Pedersen\u00a0<\/strong>of Fishers, Ind., who will arrive on campus in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

She will join Molly Carson<\/strong><\/a>, Shelby Kahn<\/strong><\/a>, Marly Lough<\/strong><\/a>, Maura Fluehr<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Mac Sullivan<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in State College as members of the Nittany Lions\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic careers at Penn State University! I\u2019d like to thank my coaches, teammates, friends and most importantly my family who got me to this point.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented backstroker and freestyler, Pedersen swims year-round with Southeastern Swim Club and is a Futures qualifier. Last summer, she registered five lifetime bests at Indiana LCM Seniors where she finaled in four events before going on to competed on the 4x100m medley relay at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
