NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Tennessee has received a new verbal pledge for their growing class of 2025 from\u00a0Jordan Crooks\u00a0<\/strong>of George Town, Cayman Islands.<\/p>\n

He will join current Carmel Swim Club teammates Gus Rothrock<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Griffin Hadley<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Knoxville in the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swimming career at the University of Tennessee. Go Vols!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprinter, Crooks does his club swimming with Camana Bay Aquatic Club and most recently won six events at the Cayman Island National Championships. Swimming in his future home pool, he finaled in two events at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville back in January.<\/p>\n

While representing the Caymanian Swimming Federation, Crooks competed in the 100m free and 200m free at the 18th FINA World Championships where he recorded a best time in both events. In 2019, he won the 200m free and registered five additional top-6 finishes at the CARIFTA Swimming Championships.<\/p>\n
