NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Coral Spring, Fla. native Josh Hanks <\/strong>has selected Georgia Tech to continue his academic and swimming career and will arrive on campus in the fall of 2021. He announced his decision via College Swimming<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He will join Antonio Romero<\/strong><\/a>, Leandro<\/strong> Odorici<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Scott Haney<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Mert Kilavuz<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Berke Saka<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Matt Steele<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0Sean Simms<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Atlanta as members of the Yellow Jackets\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my commitment to Georgia Tech to continue my swimming and education! I want to thank my coaches, teammates, friends and family for all their support. Go Jackets!! ?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented breaststroker and IMer, Hanks owns four Junior National standards and swims year-round with Pine Crest Swimming. He most recently placed 10th in the 100m breast at Plantation Sectionals after taking 20th in that event at Juniors East. Last summer, he finaled in two events at Greensboro Futures where he achieved a pair of best times.<\/p>\n
