NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Oak Park Heights, Minn. native\u00a0Will Whittington\u00a0<\/strong>has selected the University of Missouri for his college career; he announced his verbal commitment via\u00a0College Swimming<\/em>.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Calvin Windle<\/strong><\/a>, Grant Bochenski<\/strong>,\u00a0Ethan Roach<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Ty Spillane<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Cade Oliver<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Tigers\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“Extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Missouri. I\u2019d like to thank my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for the endless support. I am beyond blessed to have received this opportunity and I am excited to be a part of such a great family! GO TIGERS!! ??”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented freestyler, Whittington swims year-round with Saint Croix Swim Club and is a Junior National qualifier. He most recently earned four best times at Minnesota Seniors after placing 20th in the 200 free at Juniors West. Last summer, he had a strong showing at Minneapolis Sectionals before going on to register four top-18 finishes at NCSAs.<\/p>\n
