NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Backstroker\u00a0Carson Brockette\u00a0<\/strong>of Dallas, Texas, has handed Villanova University their first verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at Villanova University! I want to send a huge thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and friends for all of their support along this journey. I look forward to working with the amazing coaching staff and team in 2021. Go Wildcats!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Brockette does his club swimming with Dallas Mustangs and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 200m back. He most recently finaled in the 100 back at College Station Sectionals after racing both backstroke events at Juniors West. Last summer, he got a second-swim in the 200m back at Austin Sectionals and competed at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
