NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Freestyler Nick Tommasone <\/strong>of Hinsdale, Ill. has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Notre Dame for the 2021-22 season and beyond.<\/p>\n

He will join Chris Guiliano<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Max Myers<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Owen Grimaldi\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>with the Fighting Irish as a member of the class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at the University of Notre Dame. I would like to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone else who has helped me along this journey. I can\u2019t wait to see what the future holds. Go Irish! \u2618\ufe0f”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tommasone swims year-round with Hinsdale Swim Club and owns three Winter Junior time standards. He most recently earned silver in the 200\/500 free combo and bronze in the 1000 free at Illinois Seniors after competing on two relays at Juniors West. He also achieved a best time at NCSAs in March 2019.<\/p>\n
