Of the eight events offered in high school competition, five belong to incoming college first-years;\u00a0rising senior <strong>Gretchen Walsh\u00a0<\/strong>(50\/100 free) and soon-to-be junior <strong>Claire Curzan\u00a0<\/strong>(100 fly) also have the fastest times.<\/p>\n<p>Carmel owns the top spot in both the boys&#8217; 4&#215;50 medley and 4&#215;100 free relays, while Harpeth Hall does the same on the girls&#8217; side. On the boards, New Albany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Noah Duperre\u00a0<\/strong>and Southlake Carroll&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hailey Hernandez\u00a0<\/strong>were named the National Champions.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/niscaonline.org\/Award-Programs\/All-America-Swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">About All-America Swimming<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In order for a swimmer to be considered as a NISCA High School All-American he\/she must compete for an interscholastic team and be scholastically eligible as determined by his\/her state athletic association or school authority. All swimmers must be in at least the 9th grade level of school to be eligible. Swimmers are limited to 8 consecutive semesters of eligibility. Fifth year seniors, 7th and 8th grade students are not eligible for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>All times submitted must be achieved in a regularly scheduled interscholastic meet (no time trials) and will include times achieved up to and including State Meet Performances.<\/p>\n<p>All times must be submitted to the one-hundredth of a second. Meet times MUST include documentation (copy of or link to official meet results) as well as the signatures of the Meet Manager and Meet Referee for Dual Meets. NO MANUAL TIMES ACCEPTED. Automatic timing ONLY!<\/p>\n<p>A swimmer may be listed in as many events as his\/her times qualify.<\/p>\n<p>Relay teams are limited to FOUR swimmers. Only ONE TEAM PER SCHOOL.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, an \u201cAll America\u201d time will be determined and published.
