It\u2019s been a fantastic journey, but I know I\u2019ve found my new home!!! Thank you to everyone that\u2019s been there along the way. GO CARDS\u2764\ufe0f?&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bried, who does his club swimming with Ace Aquatic Club, owns the Olympic Trials cut in the 200m fly with three additional U.S. Open standards. He raced to fifth place in the 200 fly at Juniors East in December after finishing 18th in that event at the U.S. Open. Last summer, he won the 200m fly at the Georgia Open before going on to achieve nine best times at Greensboro Sectionals.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Hillgrove High School, Bried is a three-time Georgia 6A State Championship finalist. He placed fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 fly as a junior while taking 19th in the 200 IM during his freshman season.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 50.57<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:46.45<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:53.91<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 3:56.20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In LCM, his best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100m fly &#8211; 56.28<\/li>\n<li>200m fly &#8211; 2:00.94 <em>**Olympic Trials cut**<\/em><\/li>\n<li>200m IM &#8211; 2:07.00<\/li>\n<li>400m IM &#8211; 4:31.89<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When he suits up for Louisville in the fall of 2021, Bried will add his talents to a fly and IM group that&#8217;ll include\u00a0<strong>Greyson Alarc\u00f3n<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mitchell Whyte<\/strong>, and <strong>Haridi Sameh<\/strong>, as well as incoming freshman\u00a0<strong>Dalton Lowe\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Aidan Kreiley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Under head coach\u00a0<strong>Arthur Albiero<\/strong>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gocards.com\/sports\/swimming-and-diving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UofL<\/a>\u00a0placed third overall at ACCs this past season.
