NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Kansas has recently scored their third verbal commitment for the growing class of 2025 from Little Rock, Ark. native\u00a0Claire Hyatt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She will suit up for the Jayhawks along with Elliott Howe<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Karla Lessing<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>at the start of the 2021-22 season. Under head coach\u00a0Clark Campbell<\/strong>, the Jayhawks finished second at the 2020 Big 12 Championships.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m super excited to announce my verbal commitment to The University of Kansas!! I\u2019ve loved getting to know the coaches and swimmers and I know it will be a perfect fit for me! Rock Chalk!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Primarily a sprint freestyler and backstroker, Hyatt does her club swimming with The Aquakids, Inc. and is a Futures qualifier. She collected four silver medals at Arkansas Seniors in January and achieved a best time at Jenks Sectionals last summer.<\/p>\n
