He most recently finaled in the 200 fly at College Station Sectionals and achieved four best times at Austin Sectionals last summer before going on to compete at Des Moines Futures.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 50.06<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 1:50.86<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:43.13<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:35.32<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also competing for Southlake High School, Pogue is a four-time Texas UIL 6A Region 02 Championship finalist. I felt a strong connection with the team and coaching staff at West Point. Coach Brandt is building the program and I am honored to be a part of it.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented sprinter, Shahan swims year-round with Upper Saint Clair Swim Club and owns three Juniors cuts with one U.S. Open standard. He notched a best time at Juniors East in December and finaled in the 50 fly at NCSAs in 2019. Last summer, he achieved four lifetime bests at NCSAs where he got a second-swim in the 50m free.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 20.44<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 44.68<\/li>\n<li>100 fly &#8211; 48.83<\/li>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 50.55<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A rising senior at Belle Vernon Area High School, Shahan is a four-time Pennsylvania 2A State Championship finalist.
