NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Georgia Tech has earned a new verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Louisville, Ky. native\u00a0Caroline Pape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She will join SwimAtlanta teammates\u00a0Sarah Livingston<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Lily Burke<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Atlanta as a member of the Yellow Jackets’ class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Georgia Tech! I would like to thank my family, coaches, friends, and teammates for all they have done and all the support they have given me through the years. I am so grateful for this opportunity and can\u2019t wait. GO JACKETS!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented freestyler and butterflyer, Pape does her club swimming with Lakeside Swim Team and most recently posted five top-25 finishes at the Southern Premier Invitational. Last summer, she finished ninth in both the 50m free and 400m IM at the Kentucky LCM Championships before going on to race six events at NCSAs.<\/p>\n
