Today: Caeleb Dressel lead the 50 free pack.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong> show will have to wait another year. Kraemer<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Dressel made the team in the 100 free and swam on the 4&#215;100 free and 4&#215;100 medley relay to earn gold for Team USA.<\/p>\n<p>But he finished sixth individually in the 100 free and was a little disappointed. He responded by unleashing an assault on the water for the next four years. Dressel set numerous NCAA and American records at Florida, breaking barriers no one thought were possible. He has also dominated at the World Championships, proving he is ready to have a dominating trials.<\/p>\n<p>But in the 50 anything can happen. Who can catch him?<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Favorite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/can-caeleb-dressel-join-matt-biondi-in-an-exclusive-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dressel is clearly the favorite<\/a> this time around. He has put together some good swims and made the World Championships in 2019 as a relay swimmer.<\/p>\n<p>Adrian will be swimming with more heart and emotion than he ever has before, and that could make a huge difference.<\/p>\n<p>He went a 21.87 at the 2019 Pan American Games.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, who knows what <strong>Anthony Ervin<\/strong> is going to do? Bick<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Zach Apple<\/strong> has been as fast as 21.81, while <strong>Ryan Held<\/strong> has been a 21.87. As far as the older guys, it is still the sprint, and training into their 30s has proven to work a little differently, but still effectively.<\/p>\n<p>The 50 could be the cap on a spectacular Trials for Dressel and who knows, it could be a special finish for one of the legends, giving them one more race in the Olympics.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2021 Trials Vision:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Day
