\nKentucky graduate Asia Seidt announced her retirement from the sport of swimming, thanking her family and friends for always supporting her goals. The reigning U.S. national champion in the 200 back wrote, \u201cEven though my career was cut short, my heart will forever be happy, knowing that swimming will always be a part of me and who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coach David Marsh\u2019s Team Elite professional swimmers from San Diego welcomed the opportunity after staying in shape by training in backyard pools and the Pacific Ocean!<\/p>\n

028<\/span> DELOOF SISTERS RIDE OUT QUARANTINE TOGETHER WITH PACIFIC OPEN WATER ADVENTURES<\/strong><\/span>

\nDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, rather than returning home to Michigan, the DeLoof sisters\u2014Ali, Gabby and Catie\u2014decided to stay in San Diego and swim for Team Elite with eyes on the Tokyo Olympics. And with a built-in adventure of swimming open water in the Pacific Ocean, the trio of All-Americans from the University of Michigan feel they made the better choice.<\/p>\n
