NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Weston, Mass. native\u00a0Jacey Hinton\u00a0<\/strong>will head to the Sunshine State in the fall of 2021 after verbally committing to the University of Miami as a member of the Canes’ class of 2025 along with Lucy Miller<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m extremely proud to announce my verbal commitment to swim at The University of Miami!\u00a0 The people, the culture, and the campus are unlike any other; and I fell in love with the family you join when becoming a part of the U. I am blessed to have the support of my family, friends, teammates, coaches, and mentors who have guided me through my journey. I\u2019m so excited to be part of such an amazing team!<\/strong><\/span>

A talented sprinter, Hinton does her club swimming with Crimson Aquatics and owns the Junior National cut in the 50 free. She most recently earned silver in the 100 free and bronze in the 50 free at the New England 15-18 Age Group Championships after racing those two events at Juniors East in December.<\/p>\n
