NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>San Antonio, Texas native\u00a0Ryan Soria\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his commitment to Barton College and will suit up for the Bulldogs as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“After a long and thoughtful recruiting process, I have decided to continue my academic and athletic career at Barton College. I would like to thank all of the college coaches and universities who were part of my recruitment process. I wish all of you well and thanks to God for guidance. A special thank you to Coach Tyler at Barton who made me feel at home from our first conversation. The combination of being a top 10 Regional College academically, the beauty of the campus, Coach Tyler\u2019s enthusiasm, and being a two-time defending Conference Carolinas champion, I think it is a great fit for me. Thanks to my family, friends and Coaches who have helped me all along the way! Go Bulldogs!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Soria does his club swimming with Alamo Area Aquatic Association and most recently won two events at the South Texas Age Group Championships\u00a0 SCY Championships in February. Last summer, he earned five best times and registered four top-15 finishes at the South Texas Age Group LCM Championships.<\/p>\n

His best times include:<\/p>\n
