NCAA qualifier\u00a0Kristen Stege\u00a0<\/strong>of East Carolina has decided to transfer to the University of Tennessee<\/a>, she announced in March shortly after the season ended. Stege, primarily a distance freestyler, will be joining a strong Tennessee squad that was seeded to finish second at NCAAs this season, which would have been an all-time high for the program. The Volunteers are coming off their first SEC championship<\/a> in school history.<\/p>\n

Stege is transferring from East Carolina, whose program just got cut<\/a>. But her decision came before that was announced.<\/p>\n
