src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.au\/athletes\/cate-campbell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">three-time Olympian<\/a> has kick-started her campaign for a fourth Olympics in next year\u2019s postponed Games in Tokyo diving into familiar waters.<\/p>\n<p>She has re-located back to her home in Queensland, temporarily leaving her \u201cadopted\u201d Sydney base, during the COVID-19 lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>And with a \u201cSwimming Australia hub\u201d open for business for the first time in eight weeks under High Performance coach <strong>Vince Raleigh<\/strong> at Chandler\u2019s Sleeman Aquatic Centre,\u00a0Campbell lapped up the opportunity for a \u201ccruisey\u201d three-and-a-half kilometre session at Brisbane\u2019s traditional home of swimming since 1981 and her old training base.<\/p>\n<p>Cate Campbell joined in the return with all elite squad swimmers under-going temperature testing on arrival and swimming one swimmer per lane.<\/p>\n<p>Filming exclusively for Channel 7, Cate Campbell said: \u201cWe took it pretty easy this morning, I think everybody is worried about getting injured but it was nice and cruisey which was wonderful\u2026\u2019an easy three-and-half ks\u2019 the first step is always the hardest\u2026.but it was very good to be back in the water..it felt like coming home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s swimmers will now continue their returns around the country, as pools slowly but surely open their doors under the strict COVID-19 training restrictions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Mooney&#8217;s<\/strong> USC Spartans Squad which includes <strong>Kaylee McKeown<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Packard<\/strong> were also back at the University of Sunshine Coast while Bond University on the Gold Coast re-opened for Richard Scarce and his group including <strong>Elijah Winnington<\/strong> and <strong>Jenna Stauch.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre will be a hive of activity on Tuesday with the Southport Olympic, TSS Aquatic and Griffith University groups enjoying their first day
