NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Georgia has picked up a new in-state verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Palmetto, Ga. native\u00a0TJ Pittenger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Jackson Bates<\/strong><\/a>, Sam Parker<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Mitchell Norton<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Henr\u00e9 Louw<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Zach Kohm<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Ryan Wylie<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Bulldogs\u2019 class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at The University of Georgia! I\u2019d like to thank my coaches, teammates, family, and friends for helping me reach this goal. GO DAWGS!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Primarily a sprint freestyler, Pittenger does his club swimming with SwimAtlanta and owns a pair of Junior National cuts. He most recently placed fifth in the 50 free and ninth in the 100 free at the Southern Premier Invitational after finaling in the 50 free at Juniors East. Last summer, he finaled in three events at the Georgia Open before going on to earn a best time at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n
