What will summer pools look like when, and if, they open in the coming weeks? Well, that depends on where you live and how your part of the country is addressing the Covid-19<\/strong> pandemic. All over the nation, swimmers \u2013 competitive and recreational \u2013 are yearning for the opportunity to get back in the water. For some, a return will mean working toward target times and specific meet. For others, a return will mean once again engaging in a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n

USA Swimming<\/strong><\/a> recently sent out a set of guidelines for how club programs should handle practices when they reopen. The organization put together a comprehensive workbook that covers a variety of topics, from sanitizing and disinfecting to where swimmers should be positioned in the water to maintain social distancing.<\/p>\n
