NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Delray Beach, Fla. native\u00a0Lucy Miller\u00a0<\/strong>has opted to stay in the Sunshine State for her college career and has verbally committed to the University of Miami as a member of the class of 2025.<\/p>\n

She is the first verbal commitment the Canes have received for the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I chose the University of Miami because of the amazing swimming program and challenging academics. The coaching staff is absolutely outstanding and the girls made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to spend the next four years as a Cane!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A versatile swimmer, Miller swims year-round with Saint Andrew’s Aquatics and most recently earned bronze in the 50m breast at Plantation Sectionals. Last summer, she finished ninth in the 50m breast at Gainesville Sectionals before going on to earn a pair of best times at NCSAs.<\/p>\n
