NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Auburn University has added a new verbal commitment to their growing class of 2025 from butterflyer\u00a0Avery Bargeron\u00a0<\/strong>of Atlanta, Ga.<\/p>\n

She will join Lexie Mulvihill<\/strong>,\u00a0Lucy O\u2019Neill<\/strong>, Jenna Smith<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Abby<\/strong>\u00a0McCulloh<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Ellie Waldrep<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Rebekah Hamilton<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>on campus at the start of the 2021-22 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Auburn University. I would like to thank my coaches, family, and friends for their constant support and encouragement. WAR EAGLE!!!!!!???”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bargeron swims year-round with Dynamo Swim Club and most recently finished second in the 200 fly and fifth in the 100 fly at the Southern Premier Invitational. She earned two best times at Juniors East in December and raced to sixth place in the 200m fly at Georgia LCM Seniors last summer before going on to finish 18th in both fly events at Greensboro Futures.<\/p>\n
