In the latest episode<\/a> of his popular podcast, Inside with Brett Hawke<\/strong>, the Australian Olympian enjoys a chat with Geoff Huegill<\/strong>, his former teammate on several international squads. Hawke and Huegill discuss a variety of topics that focus on what unfolded in the pool and also chat about a number of issues away from the water.<\/p>\n

Huegill, nicknamed Skip, enjoyed a superb career, as he established himself as one of the world\u2019s elite performers in the 50 and 100 butterfly events. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Huegill claimed the bronze medal in the 100 butterfly, finishing behind Sweden\u2019s Lars Frolander<\/strong> and countryman Michael Klim<\/strong>. In earning a place on the podium, Huegill fended off American Ian Crocker<\/strong>, who was a rising star on his way to his freshman year at the University of Texas.<\/p>\n
