New Commit: <\/strong>Purdue University<\/a> has received a verbal commitment from backstroker\u00a0Lance Lesage\u00a0<\/strong>out of Hollywood, Florida for the fall of 2021.<\/p>\n

Lesage swims club at Pine Crest Swimming under coach\u00a0Mariusz Podkoscielny\u00a0<\/strong>and had qualified to swim at the Canadian Olympic Trials. He swims high school at Saint Thomas Aquinas and was 3A state runner-up in the 100 back this past fall. He swam at the Winter Junior Nationals East championships after high school season, placing as high as 58th in the 200 back.<\/p>\n

Lance Lesage is a three-time finalist in the 100 backstroke at the FHSAA 3A State championships, finishing second this past season after entering the day as the top seed after prelims. He was also a finalist in the 100 freestyle in placing seventh.<\/p>\n
