I chose Northeastern because of its exceptional academic and athletic programs. Thank you to my coaches, teammates, friends, and family for supporting me along the way. Go Huskies!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A talented backstroker and freestyler, Muldoon does her club swimming with Cougar Aquatic Team and earned a best time at the TYR Winterfest meet in January. This past summer, she placed eighth in the 200m back at Geneva Futures where she notched four lifetime bests. A current junior at Montclair High School, the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American took eighth in the 200 IM at the 2020 New Jersey Meet of Champions.<\/p>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 back &#8211; 57.55<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:02.48<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:05.61<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:54.08<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:58.59<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 class=\"c-title u-flex u-flex-align-items-center u-flex-wrap\">Stella Urness<\/h1>\n<p>Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;I am so excited to announce my commitment to further my athletic and academic career at Northeastern University. I chose Northeastern because I believe the coaches really care about their swimmers success in and out of the water. Go huskies!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A versatile swimmer, Urness swims year-round with Saint Andrew&#8217;s Swimming and most recently had four top-8 finishes at the Speedo Winter Championships in December. She was the 50m breast runner-up at Florida Gold Coast LCM Seniors last summer before going on to earn a best time at NCSAs.
