Also competing for Mount Ararat High School, Saunders is a six-time Maine State Championship qualifier. She finished seventh in the 100 free and ninth in the 50 free as a senior, 21st and 15th as a junior, and 34th and 23rd in those events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n<p>She told <em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>\u201cI\u2019m thrilled to announce that I have signed to Division 1 Merrimack College Women\u2019s Swim Team! I can\u2019t believe that I will finally be able to achieve this goal, and reach my academic goals as well. I\u2019m extremely thankful to my parents, Jay Morissette, Brian Savage, Steve Butts, Tracy Boucher, and Coach Erin Cammann! Can\u2019t wait to see what the future holds.
