He hits \u2018BEAST Mode\u2019\u2014especially if he is getting close to one of his personal goals. Nothing is going to stop him from getting it. He focuses in on what needs to be done&#8230;and he does it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his AAAA 100 back time, he has three AAA times (100-200 free and 50 back) and four AA times (50-500 free and 100-200 IM). He also was recently selected by Southern California Swimming as one of its top 32 10-and-under boys to compete at its annual All-Star Festival Meet.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Swimming World:<\/span><\/strong> What is the best thing you do in swimming?<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Jayce Lloyd:<\/span><\/strong> Being competitive at meets\u2014especially championship meets. I get hyped by telling myself that I\u2019m going to swim my best race and drop time. I am good at feeling my tempo and knowing my stroke count to know how my race is going.
