Steward came into the meet as the top seed and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/five-races-to-watch-at-big-12-swimming-and-diving-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">we highlighted this race<\/a> as an opportunity for a non-Texas swimmer to come out on top.
