Indiana has won the last three titles and is in a dog fight with Ohio State for second place.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Max McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>had the best swim of the day with his 50.6 in the 100 breaststroke to remain as the top guy in the nation with 26 days until NCAAs in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan&#8217;s <strong>Charlie Swanson\u00a0<\/strong>won his fourth straight 400 IM title on Friday night as he became the first man to sweep the 400 IM at Big Ten&#8217;s since fellow Wolverine\u00a0<strong>Tim Siciliano\u00a0<\/strong>won from 1999 &#8211; 2002. Michigan State University         218<\/pre>\n<h3>100 Fly<\/h3>\n<p>Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Miles Smachlo\u00a0<\/strong>ended\u00a0<strong>Bruno Blaskovic&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>winning streak in the Big Ten championships as Smachlo swam a 45.05 to win the 100 butterfly. Swanson is the first swimmer to win 4 Big Ten titles in the 400 IM since fellow Wolverine\u00a0<strong>Tim Siciliano\u00a0<\/strong>won from 1999 &#8211; 2002. Loy went 1-2 with fellow Buckeye\u00a0<strong>Paul DeLakis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.04) as they went 1-2 in the 200 IM last night in the same order. Loy won Ohio State&#8217;s first 200 free Big Ten title since\u00a0<strong>Josh Fleagle\u00a0<\/strong>won in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan had three swimmers in the A-Final as\u00a0<strong>Felix Aub\u00f6ck\u00a0<\/strong>(1:33.03) finished in fourth just behind Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mohamed Samy\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.91). The Hoosiers had won the last four Big Ten titles in this event but that streak was snapped.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Patrick Callan\u00a0<\/strong>(1:33.04) and\u00a0<strong>Gus Borges\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.01) finished in fifth and seventh respectively. McHugh missed\u00a0<strong>Ian Finnerty&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>50.60 record that he set last season as the Gopher sophomore won ahead of Indiana sophomore\u00a0<strong>Zane Backes\u00a0<\/strong>(51.37) as those guys will have fun battles the next two years.<\/p>\n<p>McHugh won Minnesota&#8217;s first 100 breast Big Ten title since\u00a0<strong>Colin Lee-To\u00a0<\/strong>won in 2009. Fantoni has now won this event every year of his career for the Hoosiers as he went 1-2 with freshman\u00a0<strong>Brendan Burns\u00a0<\/strong>(45.75), who was third earlier in the night in the 100 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan had no swimmers in the A-Final as their arch rival Ohio State placed\u00a0<strong>Jonah Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(46.16) and\u00a0<strong>Colin McDermott\u00a0<\/strong>(46.25) in fourth and fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cameron Tysoe\u00a0<\/strong>had a good swim to finish third at
