The swim puts Adams fifth in Division I heading towards the NCAA championships in 19 days.<\/p>\n<p>Adams&#8217; former Carmel teammate and current Texas teammate\u00a0<strong>Kelly Pash\u00a0<\/strong>cruised in the heats of the 400 IM at 4:10.95 as she should have a 4:05 possibly under her sleeve tonight.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a big chance that there could be a non-Texas winner tonight with Kansas senior\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Amato-Hanner\u00a0<\/strong>(53.89) leading the 100 fly heats and sophomore\u00a0<strong>Kate Steward\u00a0<\/strong>(1:00.82) leading the 100 breast heats for the Jayhawks.<\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side, Texas is leading every single event as senior\u00a0<strong>Maxime Rooney\u00a0<\/strong>had a solid 100 fly heat at 45.43 while freshmen <strong>Jake Foster\u00a0<\/strong>(3:44.57) is the top seed in the 400 IM and\u00a0<strong>Caspar Corbeau\u00a0<\/strong>(52.64) is ahead in the 100 breast.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/drew-kibler-embracing-new-mentality-heading-into-ncaas-olympic-trials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drew Kibler<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(200 free) and\u00a0<strong>Austin Katz\u00a0<\/strong>(100 back) are also top seeds in their respective events after they scratched out of last night&#8217;s 500
