Tonight is the first night that individual events will be contested, including diving. The events for the evening are as follows: 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, 50 Freestyle, 1-Meter Dive and the 200 Freestyle Relay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/getsomemaction.com\/tournaments\/?id=128&amp;path=wswim\">Live Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/mac-championships-day-two-day-2\/ncaa-college\/2020\/February\/26?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Day 2 Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>MAC Women&#8217;s Swimming Championships: 500 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 500 Freestyle went to<strong> Alyssa Shugarman<\/strong> from Eastern Michigan tonight at a time of 4:44.51. She overtook the rest of the field by over a second. Coming behind Shugarman was <strong>Brittney Beetcher f<\/strong>rom Buffalo in 4:46.23. Third, and rounding out the field of swimmers under 4:50 in the A-final, was <strong>Izzy Jones<\/strong> of University of Toledo. It\u2019s worth noting that <strong>Savanna Mouat<\/strong> of Eastern Michigan won the B-final while breaking the 4:50 barrier in 4:49.64, dropping over 6 seconds from prelims.<\/p>\n<p><img Swimming Championships: 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 200 IM went to <strong>Sarah Watson<\/strong> from Akron in 1:57.65. She kept her place from her prelims swim, where she was the fastest qualifier. Joining her on the podium was <strong>Camila Lins de Mello<\/strong> from Miami University, Ohio (1:58.31) and <strong>Daisy Platts f<\/strong>rom Eastern Michigan (1:58.83).
