The 200 freestyle relays that were originally scheduled for Thursday night will now take place at the start of Friday&#8217;s evening session, which is now scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. local time.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the men&#8217;s 1-Meter and the women&#8217;s 3-Meter dive finals, which were originally scheduled for Thursday night will now take place on Friday. As a result, the men&#8217;s Platform dive, which was originally scheduled for Friday, will now take place on Saturday along with the women&#8217;s Platform dive.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2020-western-athletic-conference-championships-air-force-northern-arizona-lead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Day 1 recap<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><strong>WAC Championships: Men&#8217;s 500 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">UNLV&#8217;s <strong>Chris Mykkanen<\/strong> swam the fastest 500 free during the morning session with a 4:21.86, which will now count as a conference championship since the prelims are counted as timed finals after the water break.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Grand Canyon&#8217;s <strong>Mikhail Lyubavskiy<\/strong> took second in 4:23.23, followed by Air Force&#8217;s <strong>Wen Zhang<\/strong> (4:23.39) and UNLV&#8217;s <strong>Hayden Hemmens<\/strong> (4:23.41).<\/p>\n<pre><b>Event 8  Men 500 Yard Freestyle<\/b>\r\n==================================================================\r\n          WAC: #
