Women’s 500 Free<\/h3>\n
Nicole Welch<\/strong> of Villanova took top honours with a time of 4:49.64. In second place was Julie Stankiewicz<\/strong> of Seton Hall with a time of 4:52.41. Villanova’s Brenna McLaughlin<\/strong> took third place in a time of 4:53.93. Cristina Barrett<\/strong> of Georgetown came fourth (4:54.08), Corey Moon<\/strong> of Georgetown came fifth (4:56.03), and Emily Provenzo<\/strong> of Villanova came sixth (4:56.05). Villanova teammates Anna Turner<\/strong> (5:01.15) and Andrea Fong<\/strong> (5:03.53) rounded out the championship final. Villanova showcased its freestyle depth with five of the eight finalists.<\/p>\n

In second place was Andrew Martin<\/strong> of Xavier with a time of 4:23.41, meanwhile Ben Laclair<\/strong> of Seton Hall came third at 4:24.86. Finishing in fourth place was Caleb Smith<\/strong> of Seton Hall (4:30.59), followed by teammate Joseph Gibson<\/strong> (4:30.78) and Xavier’s Benjamin Quon<\/strong> (4:30.92). Villanova’s Jake McIntyre<\/strong> (4:31.90) and Georgetown’s Matthew Braviak<\/strong> (4:34.27) finished in seventh and eighth place respectively.<\/p>\n

Rayann Jaryszak<\/strong> finished second in a time of 2:02.51, while Kaitlin Gravell<\/strong> finished in third place with a time of 2:03.38. Hannah Pugh<\/strong> of Butler finished fourth in a time of 2:04.20. Phoebe Slaughter<\/strong> of Georgetown took fifth place (2:04.42), meanwhile Tarryn Els<\/strong> of Villanova came sixth (2:05.03). Finishing seventh was Brooke Atkins<\/strong> of Xavier, while Marianne Molloy<\/strong> of Seton Hall finished eighth (2:05.31).<\/p>\n

Andrew Carbone<\/strong> swimming for Georgetown took home the win in a time of 1:46.10. He was followed to the wall by Justin Cucchi<\/strong> of Villanova (1:47.37) and Michael Baldini<\/strong> of Georgetown (1:49.07). Xavier’s Jonathan Bernard<\/strong> came fourth in a time of 1:49.55, while Villanova’s Francis Prikasky<\/strong> (1:50.32) and Providence’s Andrew Ferrell<\/strong> (1:50.78) finished fifth and sixth respectively. Josh Tosoni<\/strong> of Seton Hall (1:51.01) and Brandon Abboud<\/strong> of Xavier (1:51.84) rounded out the championship final.<\/p>\n

Belinda Donohoe<\/strong> of Georgetown finished third in a time of 23.25. Xavier’s Emily Saugstad<\/strong> took fourth place (23.35), Perri Stahl<\/strong> of Villanova came fifth (23.49), Erin Merke<\/strong> of Xavier came sixth (23.54), Cornelia Jerresand<\/strong> of Seton Hall came seventh (23.64) and Lauren Zawacki<\/strong> of Providence came eighth (23.81).<\/p>\n

Andrew Kelley<\/strong> of Villanova (20.97) and Ethan Wing<\/strong> of Xavier (21.05) rounded out the championship final.<\/p>\n

Joe Swindal<\/strong> of Villanova took fourth place with a score of 496.20, meanwhile Tim Lynch<\/strong> of Seton Hall came fifth scoring 476.15.<\/p>\n

The team from Villanova finished second with a time of 1:33.29, while Seton Hall finished third at 1:34.14. Butler came fourth, Providence came fifth, and Georgetown came sixth.<\/p>\n

Xavier University jointly won their second relay of the evening touching the wall at 1:21.05 for the win, along with the team from Seton Hall. Georgetown finished third at 1:21.43. Villanova took fourth place at 1:22.91, meanwhile Providence finished fifth at 1:22.93 to round out a tough fought event.<\/p>\n
