UVA has the top seed in four events Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>UVA entered the day with 524.5 points, ahead of NC State (497) in what appears to be a two-horse race. She could make a run at the meet record set in 2016 by Louisville\u2019s <strong>Kelsi Worrell<\/strong> (50.06) in the evening prelims. The second seed is defending champion <strong>Morgan Hill<\/strong> with freshman <strong>Alexa Cuomo<\/strong> third thanks to a massive drop from 53.42 to 51.51. <strong>Jessica Nava<\/strong> also crept up into sixth by dropping more than a second from her seed time to 52.04. They aren\u2019t out of the picture this year with three A finalists. But they\u2019ll be chasing two Cavaliers, with <strong>Margaret Nelson<\/strong> garnering the top spot in 4:06.62 and <strong>Abigail Richter<\/strong> second (4:07.90).
